UPDATE: On his Facebook page, Stephen Amell addressed the “Flashpoint” story in response to a website saying that Stephen “confirmed” that Flashpoint would have an impact on Arrow. In italics, you can see what exactly Stephen said in response:
The distinct possibility that I made a grammatical error is going to haunt me for weeks. Maybe months.
Actually I sarcastically said “sure”… And then I seriously said, “I have no idea whatsoever”… but let’s go with confirm, I guess.

According to a tweet from the People’s Choice Awards Twitter account, Stephen Amell was asked at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest if The Flash‘s Flashpoint storyline will affect Arrow, and supposedly Stephen answered with a “Sure.”
He moderator asked if it will be “majorly?” And Stephen said “You bet.”
We’ll see what “that affect” entails when the show returns in the Fall; we’d assume a more solid announcement will happen around Comic-Con in a few weeks. Here’s the Tweet, in any event:
