The Smallville Connection In Arrow’s “The Offer”
News March 18, 2015 Craig Byrne
There have been some familiar faces between Arrow and The CW’s first DC superhero drama, Smallville, in the past… for starters, the actor playing Oliver Queen’s doctor in the very first episode was Smallville’s “Principal Kwan,” and actors including Sarah-Jane Redmond, Michael Daingerfield, and Tahmoh Penikett have done both shows. Even the Queen mansion was familiar, as it was the same house used for Lex Luthor on Smallville.
Tonight’s episode of Arrow, “The Offer,” took things to a new level, though.
Adrian Glynn McMorran played “Murmur” in tonight’s show, but if we go back about 14 years, he was known to DC TV fans for a different role: That of “Jeremy Creek,” the very first “meteor freak” met in the pilot episode of Smallville which aired in 2001.
Sadly, Smallville never brought Jeremy Creek back… but now, he’s had another DCU role.
Welcome back, Mr. McMorran.
