What do you think of Quentin working with Damien?

DEREK: Quentin has something to do, so it’s great! Seriously, though, it’s worked wonders. Quentin often felt superfluous and Paul Blackthorne underused last season, but he’s been an integral player and perspective this time around. Blackthorne and McDonough play very well against each other.

Oliver Confronts QuentinSTEPHANIE: I’m glad Quentin has something to do other than go after Oliver. However, it bothers me that he thinks he’s doing this for his daughter’s protection. First, a man as powerful as Damien has no reason to keep their unwritten agreement, and second, Quentin isn’t showing a whole lot of faith in his daughter or her friends’ ability to look after her. So I’m okay with what Quentin is doing but not why he’s doing it.

CRAIG: I still do not completely understand why Quentin would take that gamble, even to protect Laurel, when Damien is killing people in Lance’s city. Quentin’s intentions may be good, and maybe he’s just desperate, but I still will probably never completely understand how or why that is a thing.

MATT: It’s a bit of a weird proposition, given that the stick Darhk is using on Quentin is threat to his daughters, one of which is a world-class assassin and the other is member of a vigilante force protecting the city. But Quentin is a father and rationality goes out the window when it comes to protecting your kids. Darhk had already gotten under the skin when he coaxed his way into financially helping the city with its law enforcement issues, so it’s not surprising that things escalated out of his hands. I absolutely loved the exchange between Quentin and Oliver when things get discovered and it makes all the sense that they would use his placement to get at Darhk from the inside.
