Curtis ApprovesHave any particular guest stars (aside from the Flash people) really stood out this year?

MATT: Echo Kellum’s Curtis Holt has been a terrific foil and partner for Felicity and I’d like to see them featured more going forward. Of course, Brandon Routh’s Ray Palmer is also a fun treat.

STEPHANIE: Echo Kellum and Neal McDonough are at the top of my list for reasons I’ve already mentioned.

Echo Kellum nails it in every scene. He’s filled the nerdy foil for Felicity void that Ray left, but without all the messy relationship stuff. As for one-shots, Jeri Ryan surprised me with the impression she made (it helped that I’d only recently marathoned Voyager a few months prior.) Her character wasn’t especially unique, but Ryan imbued her with much-needed gravitas and logically jumpstarted the mayoral plotline. Arrow has a so-so track record with bringing in genre stars for one-shot appearances, but Ryan falls into the “win” category for me, and I’d be happy to see her back.

CRAIG: It was really great seeing Matt Ryan making a return appearance as John Constantine. And, of course, Neal McDonough has been great, and it’s always good to see Katrina Law as Nyssa. I’ll also echo the praise for Mr. Kellum.
