Team GATV Roundtable: Looking Back At The First Half Of Arrow Season 4

Which character have you liked the most in Season 4 so far?

CRAIG: I don’t know if “like” is the word so much as “most interested by,” and that’s Thea. I’m really curious to see where her arc takes her…. I’m hoping it doesn’t take her to the grave.

DEREK: Quentin has a newfound relevance, and it’s been a revelation. He’s had a conflicting season, and his shifting morality and perspectives have given ample shading to what would have been an otherwise simple light vs. dark setting. Thea has also always been kind of a darkhorse in the ensemble, and I’ve appreciated her self-awareness and maturity while grappling with her dark side and dealing with Malcolm. Diggle, meanwhile, has gotten his best season since the first, a key player in the secondary narrative theme of brotherhood. He’s butted heads with Oliver more than usual, but that they keep bouncing back has thrown the strength and resolve in their relationship.

STEPHANIE: I don’t have an answer from the main ensemble. They’ve all been enjoyable to watch this season, and I don’t really have any complaints when it comes to them, except wanting to see more of Malcolm.

In terms of guest stars, I’m loving Curtis. He brings such excitement and energy to the series and plays off Felicity as well as the other characters.

MATT: Probably Damien Darhk, though I’ve pretty much enjoyed everyone. Getting to see much more John Diggle this year has also been a delight, though I hope they can strengthen the story with his brother so it doesn’t get lost in everything H.I.V.E.
