How is Arrow Season 4 comparing to the second season of The Flash, so far?

CRAIG: Although The Flash has done bigger and more exciting things with the introduction of Earth-Two and such, there’s a place Arrow holds in my heart that I can’t really totally pinpoint which has brought it ahead this season. However, both have been special to me in their own ways, and both are shows I look forward to every week that they’re on.

ARROWMATT: I stand by my rankings in the Best & Worst of Superhero TV in 2015. Arrow Season 4 edges The Flash Season 2 because it feels more sure of itself. The Flash has some great highlights, and you just can’t beat the emotional punch of the series, but Arrow feels ever more pointed in its story. We’ll see how they hold up over the remainder of the season.

DEREK: I’ve liked Arrow season 4 substantially more. That’s not really a knock on The Flash, though, which has still been exceptionally fun. Arrow just has a solid vision and direction this season, and has kept its storytelling much tighter and more focused than the Scarlet Speedster’s series. The Flash has had to tackle a lot of really big concepts and loads of new characters, while Arrow has been digging deep into its more refined core cast, and I’m preferring the latter.

STEPHANIE: I’d say they’re about equal for me. They’re both doing a great job creating terrifying villains and introducing guest characters that shine.
