What do you think is the future for “Olicity?”
STEPHANIE: I’m not sure, and I’m not sure I care one way or the other.
MATT: I genuinely don’t care. Just commit to something. If they’re going to be together, just put them together. No silly melodrama. Let them be a partnership and deal with all the stuff around them. If that involves them getting married this season, so be it. I tend to be a fan of incorporating relationships into hero stories to help humanize everything, but I’m at the point where I really could not care less about Oliver Queen’s love life. Give him a stable relationship and move on to other things.
CRAIG: With the narrative that Arrow has pushed forward, I don’t know if there’s a scenario where they can not ultimately and eventually be together again, without some major character maneuvering. It might not be the wedding that some expect for Season 6, but I certainly expect them to be closer again.
MELISSA: Stability. Strength. Support. A deeper commitment that in turn emboldens the characters in other parts of their lives. It won’t always be without conflict because every good relationship changes and grows, but any conflict will be minimized by the vast well of faith and love they already bring to the relationship.
Oliver Queen has a streak of the traditionalist in him. He’s going to want all that entails, even while some of what that includes frightens him, but Felicity has repeatedly proved her faith in his ability to find a way forward and together they will boldly face whatever adventure comes next.
So what’s Olicity’s future? Sky’s the limit.
