Who is the Vigilante?

CRAIG: My money’s still on Roy Harper. That’s the best explanation for why Prometheus didn’t go after Roy last year when he easily could have, and that would be the reveal that I think would sting the most.

STEPHANIE: Earth Two Oliver Queen. Alternately, a third al Ghul sister.

MATT: I like the idea of Vigilante being the real Adrian Chase that Simon Morrison stole his identity from, but they’ve been insistent on it being someone we’re already familiar with. The Roy as Vigilante theory never worked for me. So what if it’s something as crazy as Seth Gabel’s Count back from the dead. Captain Pike is a front runner for a lot of people, and it could explain his leniency with Green Arrow. And no, I won’t buy into the Tommy Merlyn guesses. I think that’s one death they’ll keep permanent on the series. What if it’s Janina Gavankar’s McKenna Hall back from paralysis and Coast City?

MELISSA: Captain Pike has been my favorite suspect for a while now. It makes sense. He’s been around since the first season, has seen how hard justice is to come by in his city, potentially would have the skill, and would have access to a lot of the inside info that Vigilante would need to operate. Plus after Pike was hurt, we no longer saw Vigilante on screen. Coincidence? Lol, quite possibly. He’s my best guess, but still, I wouldn’t be shocked if they went a totally different way.

In order for it to be Roy though, he’d have to have been brainwashed to forget his friends (and Colton Haynes free up time in his busy schedule). Vigilante at one point last season concluded the Green Arrow must not have experienced enough loss in his life. I can’t imagine Roy ever thinking that.
