Team GATV Roundtable: Looking Back At Arrow Season 5 Team GATV Roundtable: Looking Back At Arrow Season 5
The GreenArrowTV team looks back at Arrow Season 5 in a roundtable discussion. Team GATV Roundtable: Looking Back At Arrow Season 5

What kind of villains do you expect from Season 6?

MELISSA: I expect a variety. Almost a “something for everyone” kind of line up. Different villains to challenge different members of the team. Only then, will we see the depth of strength on the team in all the various ways it can be displayed.

MATT: This mix of villains, this group, sounds like it could be an interesting way to shake things up. It’ll be different than H.I.V.E. was in Season 4 because Darhk was clearly the lead their and the others in the group weren’t given focus to rise above supporting roles. Having each member of this group be significant could work well. I might have missed what the potential premise of the conflict of the season will be, though.

STEPHANIE: As we saw with Slade and Prometheus, Arrow villains tend to work better when they’re personal and using more psychological tactics than just brute force. We’ve seen villain identity reveals and betrayals, so I’m hoping season six gives us something new and surprising. Maybe collection of villains with the same skills as each member of Team Arrow, just using them for some sort of nefarious purpose.

CRAIG: This is a thing where I really have no idea what to expect. There has been very little said about who or what Michael Emerson is playing, and Richard Dragon hasn’t often been a villain, so I’m just in it to be surprised, like I was with Season 5.
