Is there anyone specific that you hope DIDN’T make it?

STEPHANIE: I don’t want to wish a child motherless, but I’m not interested in seeing Samantha again. From what we’ve seen of her character, she was pretty much just introduced to create conflict in Oliver and Felicity’s relationship, so with her out of the way, we could actually see the effect of William on Oliver’s life. With this past season being so much about fathers, now is the perfect time to explore this story.

Also, I never connected with or enjoyed Artemis, so I’m okay with Evelyn being gone.

CRAIG: With respect to Anna Hopkins, who did a great job playing her, Samantha needs to go, because the emotional stories that can be told from her passing outweigh the drama of her staying behind. I’m assuming or hoping everyone else did make it off the island.

MELISSA: Evelyn. She burned her bridges with me when she gleefully faked her death to emotionally torture Oliver. It was a level of callous cruelty that erased any of my previous desires to see her redeemed. Something in her seemed permanently broken.

MATT: I’d actually kind of liked to have seen Thea gone. Not a thing against Willa Holland, but I just feel like the course of the character has run through.
