Katie Cassidy Teases Black Siren/White Canary & Thoughts On Dinah Drake

The news from the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London is coming in fast and furious, and MoviePilot has a few key quotes from Katie Cassidy‘s panel about two things that have been heavy on the minds of fans of Laurel Lance from any world.

First off, there’s the notion of whether or not Black Siren and her Earth-1 sister, Sara Lance (White Canary of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) will meet.

“I think thats something we’ll definitely get to see next season,” Katie said. “The different relationships, how each character will react. I don’t know how Black Siren will react… I think she’s very mysterious,” she teased.

Katie was also asked about what she thinks of the show having a new “Black Canary” in Juliana Harkavy’s Dinah Drake. Cassidy had nothing but positive things to say about her costar and this new storyline.

“I’m very supportive, especially of strong women,” Katie said. “Laurel said that she wanted the Black Canary to live on and to pass the mantle. I fully support that. We live in a world now where women are becoming stronger… Another girl who gets to kick ass is amazing. Julia [Harkavy] is so sweet and so kind, such an amazing person. I was more than happy that she gets to fulfill those shoes,” Katie said.
