If you can’t wait for October 8 for new Arrow, you’re in luck: Starting September 1, DC Entertainment will be launching an Arrow Season 2.5 digital comic series that will be written by Marc Guggenheim and Keto Shimizu. The news was broken by TV Guide Magazine this morning. The series will take readers from the end of Season 2 to the start of Season 3.
“We’ve tried to put in all the elements that people like about the show, so there will be Oliver and Felicity banter,” Guggenheim promised TV Guide. “We’re going to see what’s happened to Detective Lance after he collapsed in the season finale. A good chunk of the burning questions left over will get answered in the tie-in comic.”
If digital comics aren’t your thing, the first chapters will be released in print form on October 8.
In addition to Arrow, a Flash: Season Zero comic series is also planned. You can read more about that one here.
