April 10: Wait… Arrow Isn’t New Tonight?
News April 10, 2013 Craig Byrne
Tonight you might be putting on your television and wondering why the episode of Arrow is actually a repeat of the episode “Dodger.” What gives?
Sadly, Arrow is a repeat both tonight and on Wednesday, April 17… but, new episodes start up again on April 24 with “Home Invasion.” That episode will be the first of four back to back episodes that will take us through to the end of Arrow Season 1.
You read that right: the end of Season 1. We’re almost there!
Before you call up The CW and tell them that they have failed this city, remember that with American television in particular, 22 or 23 episodes have to be spread out over a time period that is something like 40 weeks. Not only that, but episodes take more than a week to film. If Arrow had never taken any breaks, the season would have been over weeks ago and then we’d have to wait forever for new stuff. That also would be problematic as they are currently on Day Two of a ten day shoot for the Arrow Season 1 finale, so they’re not even finished filming yet!
But hey: At least we have a repeat tonight, and if that doesn’t work out, there should be past episodes on The CW’s website… and, again, new Arrow on April 24. Take a look at some screen captures from the episode’s trailer and if you’d like another way to cure your Arrow withdrawal, come by our Arrow forum to talk about the show!
UPDATE: We now have some official stills from the next episode of Arrow, courtesy of The CW! Check them out!
