Exclusive: Susanna Thompson Returns For The Arrow Season 8 Premiere

We have known from past reports and the Arrow Season 8 trailer that Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra would be back for the Arrow Season 8 premiere… but it turns out, they aren’t alone.

On the press line following the Arrow panel at tonight’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marc Guggenheim confirmed exclusively for GreenArrowTV that there’s someone else who will be back in the October 15 season opener: Susanna Thompson as Moira.

“It’s a love letter to the show; it really is,” Marc told us. “I was telling Beth [Schwartz], it felt a lot like the series finale, not the season premiere, in the best possible way, almost to the point where we’re like ‘what are we going to do for the series finale?’ I mean, we know, obviously, but it has that kind of resonance to it, and that’s exciting.”
