EW Gets The First Actual Look At Oliver Queen’s New Mask

We brought attention to the notion that it was coming a few weeks ago… and now, Entertainment Weekly has confirmation and a close up look at Oliver Queen’s new… mask!
Take a look:
”Conceptually, it was something we wanted to do because Oliver himself is evolving as the Arrow– from vigilante to hero, sort of from Arrow to Green Arrow — and we wanted to see that progression in his costume as well,” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg told EW in their piece which you can find here. “As Oliver is embracing being a hero, being a hero means stepping out of the dark and being more of a symbol, so he has to take steps to conceal his identity more.”
This also comes in handy now that Oliver is hanging out with people like Quentin Lance so much… now he won’t always have to keep his head down.
You can read the EW piece and see an additional photo and more quotes from Kreisberg and the costume designer at EW.com.
The mask will make its first Arrow appearance on December 11, which also happens to be the second “Barry Allen/The Flash” episode. The title of the episode is “Three Ghosts.”
