The 2016 GreenArrowTV Awards: The Results Are In!
GreenArrowTV AwardsNews September 15, 2016 Craig Byrne
Best Actor (Male): Stephen Amell
It’s a good thing viewers of Arrow like the lead actor of the show, huh?
Stephen Amell took the top spot for Best Actor yet again with 64% of the vote this year. Oliver Queen went through all kinds of emotions this year — starting it happy in Ivy Town with Felicity, and then ending it following the loss of many lives, including his friend Laurel, which brings him sadness. And now, of course, Oliver is taking a more public role in how he defends his city, which should be interesting to see.
The Best Actor categories, as always, feature only series regulars, and this year, we had four. Getting the #2 spot this year was Paul Blackthorne (18%) whose Quentin Lance character went through losing yet another child, getting another one back, and even finding some love. Blackthorne has long been a great player in the Arrow troupe and it’s great to see him recognized.
