Worst Episode: “Canary Cry”

While I (Craig, the writer of this article) actually liked “Canary Cry” a lot, there are certainly a few things that went against it:

• It was the last episode for Katie Cassidy as Laurel/Black Canary (for now).
• For some, it featured a lot of Katie Cassidy as Laurel/Black Canary and maybe even some “Lauriver” which a portion of the Arrow fan base didn’t like.
• Introducing Evelyn so soon as a fake Canary was like rubbing salt on a wound.
• Events from the episode contradicted an excellent story that was written for the Arrow tie-in comic book a few years ago.

In any event, a good portion of people – nearly 20% – weren’t into it.

The second least favorite episode of Arrow Season 4, behind by only 14 votes, was “Broken Hearts.” The crossover episode “Legends of Yesterday” and the big death story “Eleven-Fifty-Nine” tied for #3 at 13% each.
