Is there a particular DC character that you’d like to see in Season 3?

7719CRAIG: I don’t know if it’ll happen in Season 3, but I’d love to see Hal Jordan on Arrow at some point, whether he’s a Green Lantern or not. And, no, just because John Diggle is named “John” and happens to be Black – he is not the Green Lantern John Stewart, so let it go, people. Being Diggle is awesome in itself!

MATT: I was going to write an op-ed months ago campaigning for WB to really give into the idea that the DCwU (and other realities of their various TV series) is a different continuity/reality/universe from its film properties and allowing anyone or anything from the DC stable to appear on either Arrow or The Flash. The biggest statement to me would be having the freedom to use Batman or Superman or any other of the Big 7 that usually constitute the Justice League. There’s always been a concern that it would somehow sully or diminish the reach and effectiveness of the film versions. That’s a patently silly notion, and you either go whole hog with each separate reality or you consider that they are all part of one whole.

That’s not to say that they should use Batman or Superman or Wonder Woman on the series, as there is a potential to overshadow characters or storylines. The freedom to use them, though, if they can crack the write story, is the most important part. Allowing the two series to interact with the world of CBS’ forthcoming Supergirl series would be a huge advantage to all three shows.

I would love to see Hal Jordan make an appearance on the show, if not become a frequent recurring character. Introducing him in Season 3 in some way would be fun. If you don’t want to bring in Superman, having Lois Lane pay a visit to Starling City would be fun.

The tough thing is, not having a good feel of where the story is going, it’s hard to pick which characters would make sense to appear, as well as being fun.

B7FecxfCMAEJdt1.jpg-largeDEREK: I hadn’t thought about it before, but with that Vixen series coming out, I’d love to see a live-action appearance. I’d be okay if that were saved for season 4, though.

Still yearning for an appearance from The Question. He’d be a fun way to include a “superhero” that’s not really a superhero. And this one’s kind of random, but I’d be down with Blue Devil appearing in some form on Arrow or Flash, because I dig that character (well, the earliest iteration of him) and there could be lots of fun satirizing Hollywood or celebrity culture with him in the mix.

I’d also be down for Eiling crossing over from The Flash and either teaming up or facing off with Waller and A.R.G.U.S., a la the Cadmus arc of Justice League Unlimited.

STEPHANIE: Rights and Gotham are certainly an issue, but I think Poison Ivy would be interesting to see in Starling City. More so, I’d like to see Oliver go up against a female villain who’s not a warrior. As much as I love that the women can fight as well as the men on Arrow, I want to see the writers take a different approach to creating a worthy villain. If Felicity’s proven anything, it’s that you don’t have to be proficient with weapons and/or a combat master to fit into their world and challenge an opponent.
