News June 9, 2013 Craig Byrne
The annual Leo Awards recognize the best Canadian productions, including films and television, and Team Arrow ended up taking home awards for excellence in four categories.
Glen Winter was recognized for Best Cinematography in a Dramatic Series for his work in the Arrow pilot, and the pilot was also recognized with awards for Best Production Design In A Dramatic Series (with the award going to Richard Hudolin) and to J.J. Makaro with an award for Best Stunt Coordination In A Dramatic Series.
The episode “Burned” also got some notice for Best Visual Effects In A Dramatic Series, with the award going to Jean-Luc Dinsdale, Pauline Burns, Andrew Orloff, and Dave Gauthier.
We already knew Team Arrow was the best, but it is nice to see them so well recognized by such a notable organization!
