Stephen Amell Has a “Big Announcement” Coming Monday (UPDATE: Delayed)

Stephen Amell has some news for Arrow fans.

While we have no clue what it might be, Stephen has shared on Twitter that he has a “big announcement” coming to his fans on Monday, July 9.

“Big announcement Monday. So thankful for all the people in my life who made it possible,” he Tweeted, with a positive sound that makes us this is going to be good news.

What does Stephen have in store for us? Is he getting a producer title? Is he directing an episode of Arrow? Is Batman finally showing up? Superman? The permanent return of Tommy Merlyn? More Deathstroke? Justin Hartley guest appearance? His Green Arrow in a video game? A new contract taking him beyond Season 7?

This could be something completely unrelated to the show, though Marc Guggenheim said on Twitter that he knows what it is…

UPDATE: Stephen’s announcement is going to have to wait a little bit.

“Gotta postpone my announcement tomorrow. Sometimes stuff happens and you have to stand down,” Amell Tweeted. However, he did have encouraging words to say. “Really, really excited to be back in Vancouver and starting S7. Feels like home.”

We’ll let you know when Stephen does announce whatever is coming.
